    The Workforce Readiness Committee is a vital resource for NNHRA. Our vision is to reduce Nevada’s unemployment rate by helping Nevadans prepare for their desired career and become work-ready. The Workforce Readiness Committee serves employers by providing resources for training, internship and hiring assistance from state, higher education and non-profit organizations.

    Job Seekers:

    Finding a job can be overwhelming and identifying resources to strengthen your skills, profile and readiness can be a challenge.  You will find links here to assist you with: financial resources, occupational training providers and programs, basic education/high school equivalency preparation programs, English as second language programs, job-seeking training and services, internship opportunities, career opportunities, and resources for military service members.


    Looking to increase or improve your workforce? You will find these resources available: Financial resources for hiring and training, training on hiring veterans, college internship/job posting, internship coordination, nonprofit recruiting and skills matching, and Nevada industry intelligence.

    Military Service Members & Veteran Job Seekers:

    Here you will find the following resources: applications for VA education and other benefits, financial resources, military transition assistance program (TAP) resources, Nevada System of Higher Education resources, armed services professional development training and assistance services, career readiness resources, and military job boards.


    Youth will find career planning and preparation resources, training providers for disadvantaged youth, and non-academic, employment-focused training providers.
