"How to Conduct Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training Virtually"

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday month, we are adding this special training to this month’s offerings.

Everywhere we look across America, a sea of change is underway. It is no longer okay to compartmentalize what is happening inside of our organizations from what we are seeing happening outside. We know that diversity means having a seat at the table, inclusion means having a voice and belonging means having that voice be heard. As HR and L&D professionals, we have a seat at the table and not just an opportunity, but an obligation to use our unique professional expertise to help drive racism and social injustice out of America’s workplaces.

DEI training is a key tool to engage with your teams about DEI. This webinar will provide a broad overview of how to plan, prepare for, and deliver DEI training virtually. It will include how to scope the key content, sequence the learning, and prepare yourself as the facilitator of sensitive content.

    Webinar attendees will:

    • Consider best practices and important watch-outs when delivering emotionally charged content
    • Experience video content, reflection questions, and activities that are highly effective in a virtual setting
    • Discover how to set the stage by using dripped content and guided discovery on the learning journey

The use of this seal confirms that this activity has met HR Certification Institute’s® (HRCI®) criteria for recertification credit pre-approval of (1) credit each.
