    Please note: Due to an unexpected obligation, Nevada Labor Commissioner Shannon Chambers will not be available to present at this meeting. Her colleagues, David Gould, Senior Investigator and Jennafer Jenkins, Investigator/Auditor will be presenting in her place.     Shannon Chambers, Labor Commissioner
    State of Nevada

    Shannon Chambers has been the Labor Commissioner for the State of Nevada since December 2014. The Office of the Labor Commissioner is the principal wage and hour and labor regulatory agency for the State of Nevada. This includes educating employers and employees regarding their rights and responsibilities under the law in an effort to promote the growth of business in Nevada. Prior to that, she worked as a Deputy Director for the State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry and as a Deputy Attorney General and Administrative Law Judge for the State of California. Ms. Chambers has proven experience managing staff and implementing programs across both the government and private sectors. Ms. Chambers is a graduate of the University of Nevada Reno and Pepperdine University School of Law.
