    "Up in Smoke: Marijuana in Nevada Workplaces - Big Changes in 2020!"

    Marijuana in the workplace continues to be an ongoing dilemma for employers throughout the United States, especially in Nevada with recent recreation legalization and the passage of AB132, which prohibits employers from failing or refusing to hire prospective employees because of a drug test indicating the presence of marijuana. Learn updates about its relationship to workers’ compensation claims filed by employees under its influence at the time of an industrial injury.

    Linda Honey has been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Nevada since 1999. She also holds her National Certification as an Addiction Counselor, Level I. Linda earned a bachelor's degree in Health & Community Services and Criminal Justice from Chico State a very long time ago.

    Linda's career path has taken several turns, but the end goal has always been the same, to assist others, specifically those struggling with substance-abuse disorders. Timely Testing has allowed her the opportunity to build on her enjoyment of people in many different arenas.  24/7, 365 days of the year, Linda will often be on the other end of the phone when people contact Timely Testing for their testing needs.

    Linda has enjoyed sports throughout her life, continuing to ski and golf today. Her love for her friends, family, fellowship, and the outdoors help her maintain a well balanced life.

    Under Linda's leadership, Timely Testing developed and continues to expand its workplace training opportunities, site evaluations and thorough audits of workplace drug and alcohol testing programs.
