Dear Valued Members,
The future is bright for NNHRA! Our association, along with the Human Resources profession, has grown in both size and relevance over the past 50 years, due largely in part to the passion and commitment of our leadership year after year. We need to thank our past officers for their hard work and accomplishments. It is indeed a privilege and an honor for me to be stepping into this role in 2018.
My plan is to keep NNHRA growing and to design a path forward which insures that our organization maximizes its value for its members and the human resource profession. We will continue our path to increase our membership, stay in the forefront of every-changing rules and regulations, and strengthen the value of our organization to our members.
I have three strategic goals for the future of NNHRA, which will need the involvement of not only our Board members and volunteers, but also the participation of all of you!
1. Expand the use of technology to better connect with our fellow members (and potential new members) in urban areas;
2. Enhance our educational and networking opportunities; and
3. Engage our members at the highest levels to share their ideas and become more involved.
These goals are both important and achievable. We will need to work together, think big, keep our standards high, and have fun! I look forward to working with all of you in the coming year and growing our already incredible organization into something of great pride and value for all of us.
